THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG

La vie est belle
A celebration of life.
“La vie est belle” is a hymn to life.
It is a song for everyone — a message of hope for those going through moments of deep distress, but also an expression of my own joy of living through music.
01
A hymn to life
“La vie est belle” was written as a call to life and hope.
It is addressed in particular to people who may feel overwhelmed, who can no longer see a way forward or for whom life has become painfully difficult.
But above all, the song carries something deeply personal: my joy of living and my desire to express that joy through music.
From my heart to yours, here is “La vie est belle”.

Jazz, Latin colours & collaboration
“La vie est belle” is also the result of a Belgian-Italian musical collaboration with pianist, composer, arranger and conductor Marco Ciccone, who created the main arrangement.
The harmony is strongly influenced by jazz, while the rhythm brings in Latin colours.
The result is a joyful and energetic song that I hope will make you want to dance, sing and celebrate life.
